After much delay

I regret to inform you that I have more delay. My interweb on the computin box is acting the fool. The few pictures that I did take will have to be uploaded later. Keep trying to click the spoke card for pictures, it will work eventually. As for a synopsis of Sunday, lets just say it was awesome.

It started early with a long, fast ride over some of the mean streets of Spokane, which there are quite a few. I missed this ride because I am a giant pussy and opted out of the early ride to save up for the Fiasco.

For the replay of the Paris-Roubaix race at noon (we thought it was at 1:00), we all met up at Beniditto's to watch with 75 of our closest friends, seven of which I knew. I tried to make my rounds and tell of the epic adventure that is the Fucking Bike Club and the Full Moon Fiasco but beer and pizza called.

The Fiasco started just as it always does at The Pear Tree Inn and some Karaoke. This time we had one of ours that wanted to sing and I can truly say that it was both systematic and hydrostatic.

From there we were to take a long ride through a roadie route along the South Hill, instead we took a short route along the South Hill. We ended up at Hangar 18, I mean 57 for some strange looks and a few brews. We couldn't convince the crew to take it down the hill so we turned around and headed for my house. What once was 10 turned to four and then to three. Me, the good doctor and K drank in the living room. Between the beers, my butchering of and his refusal to speak 'American', we said 'huh?' a lot until it got too late.

NEXT TWO RIDES!
Tradition has it that next month is the Prom Ride. It will not be on the full moon though the Fiasco will be as scheduled on the 19th. The prom ride will be the 31st. It's a Saturday it's earlier and it's a formal. I mention this now so you have time to make arrangements for a tux or dress and a date or an escort. I don't care how you roll as long as you roll. We have ordained a prom committee though if you would like to participate in the planning please feel free to contact me with your ideas.

This will be a special time for all of us and we expect your full commitment to Sparkle Motion. We have things planned that will make awesome look like a thing that is not awesome.

  1. Wow, I count no less than 15 bikes one of those photos. I don't think I've ever seen that many bikes in on place in Spokane outside of a bike shop.

    Keep up the good work!
